Lund University Agenda 2030 Graduate School is a global, cutting-edge research school and collaboration platform for issues related to societal challenges, sustainability and the 2030 Agenda. The 17 PhD students from all faculties at Lund University enrolled with the Agenda 2030 Graduate School relate their specific research topics to the Sustainable Development Goals. This blog series of the Agenda 2030 Graduate School is motivated by last month’s United Nations High-Level Political Forum at the UN Headquarters in New York. Through policy making, regulation and/or promotion Institutions play a fundamental role in the SDG achievement and thus we will discuss the achieved progress of the Agenda and calls for change through a more systemic approach, explain the role of economic institutions and their responsibility in the development agenda, and reflect on what Universal Health Coverage means and the paradigms of the UN´s Financial Inclusion agenda.
